A River Runs Through It

I had a great time producing this segment in Meath with Richard Curran (columnist for The Sunday Business Post, presenter of Dragons’ Den) who was guest hosting The Business.

‘Boyne Valley Activites and Cultural Tourism Ireland are two Co. Meath businesses that have emerged from the collapse of the construction sector. Both are using our medieval history as the basis of their new ventures. We took a trip to Trim to meet former carpenter Dara Llewellyn, former fitter James Murray, and archeologist Steve Mandel.’

  1. The picture is just fantastic. The town are onto a great idea, using the river and history of the place so that tourists can actually experience the place as opposed to trad tourism where they just look and leave.
